Having lived in several of the poorest and most crime-ridden neighborhoods in the city, she is a true A-T-alien. Star came up in the public school system while also enduring several hardships in the home. This, however, did not stop her from becoming an accomplished young woman, graduating summa cum laude from college and having several works of literature already in the making. One of Star’s biggest passions has always been writing. Since third grade, she could always remember written expressions being her escape from reality. Whether she was writing a poem or songs, ghost writing raps for others artists, or creating short stories, there were always pen and paper nearby wherever she was. Star currently works as a conflict resolution specialist, and Temptation is her first break-out novel. She is ecstatic to share her vision through her characters with readers all over the world.
