When the first two came to live with her at ages 4 & 5, the little one started calling her mommy almost immediately. The 5 year old took a lot longer. One day she said “Half of me wants to call you mommy, the other half doesn’t!” It was then that Kristy realized that for her to be called mommy, went a lot deeper and had a lot more meaning, than just a title.view less
