As a lifetime writer and poet, her children inspired her to turn her talents into entertainment for her family. In 1998 a co-worker read one of Shilo’s poems and encouraged her to get her work professionally published.
Shilo resides at her lakefront home in the North Central Massachusetts with her husband Thomas and their four daughters: Ericka, Tara, Jessica, and Samantha. She continues to write children’s stories and is currently working on her first novel.
