However, for seven years she was raised in a hamlet not too far from there. She and her family moved to Wichita Falls, TX on her seventh birthday. She was able to return to the hamlet when she was twenty one. She loved “Las Posadas” during Christmas. Credit is given to her beloved mother, Maria Reyes Compeán (born on January 6th; thus the name “Reyes”), for giving her details about “Las Posadas”. Her mom has been there for her when she needed her most … just as she has been for her other children. Now, Martha tutors, travels, and volunteers at local organizations in Wichita Falls. She is also a member of different Catholic groups.view less
