McKayhan’s desire is to help children and young adults handle problems they face today and promote positive outcomes. During her life, she has faced several personal obstacles to include surviving breast cancer since 1994. She has a bachelor of science degree in social psychology and a master’s degree in business administration. Recently retired from the federal government, she keeps busy working in her community, teaching children. Currently, she lives in the Washington, DC, area.
