JJ Phoenix is an illustrator from Houston, Texas. His interest in art developed from reading comic books and watching cartoons as a child. JJ went on to study art at the University of Houston. He has a wide range of artistic interests including illustration, cartoons, comic book art, anime, figure drawing and realism. JJ enjoys creating artworks using many different mediums such as color pencils, watercolors, collage, ink, paint, and digital art. JJ enjoys spending his free time with his family and pets, but he still finds time to read comic books and watch as many cartoons as possible.view less
