Washington High School in Atlanta. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Morris Brown College in Atlanta. She received a full scholarship to Atlanta University (Clark Atlanta University) where she earned a Master of Arts Degree in Education with a concentration in Behavior Disorders. She earned an Advance Placement Certificate in English from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. Also Gifted Endorsement from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia and she earned an Educational Specialist degree (Ed.S) in Educational Administration from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. Yvonne Daniel Head Cannon, Ed.S is a former teacher of the Behavior Disordered and the Gifted and Talented who received Stellar Teacher Awards. Yvonne is a published poet who has received two Outstanding Poet Awards. She is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and Central United Methodist Church. Yvonne is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Daniel of Atlanta, Georgia.
