Their interactions through coaching, mentoring and being with their children’s friends and acquaintances (soccer, swimming, baseball, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, room-mom, Vacation Bible School, etc.) were priceless, with countless opportunities to encourage their imaginations through every-day situations. Their children are ending high school and entering college now. But they fondly recall and highly value the formative years of their children’s lives.
