As an elementary school teacher she wrote and presented the series “Story Fun" for PBS. As a volunteer, she was involved in the “Everyone A Reader" and “Book Pals" programs, helping children to read and reading books aloud to class rooms.
After living in southern California for many years, Dixie Beth has returned to her beloved Ozark Hills, where she continues to write poetry, children's stories, sings and records her own music.view less
