He started his legal career at the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office and quickly became known as a skilled litigator. During his 6 years at the office, he prosecuted complex domestic violence cases, homicides, and special victim cases. He left the office in 2005 as a Senior Trial Attorney in the Special Victims Unit. He has served as the Corporate Counsel for a multimillion-dollar transportation company in DC for the past 3 years. Charles has been recognized as an outstanding litigation attorney in several jurisdictions with over 300 jury trials, bench trials, and administrative hearings to his credit. He has been recognized as an expert in criminal defense litigation, civil litigation, and employment litigation. Charles is also a distinguished adjunct professor for over 17 years teaching criminal law, criminal procedure, constitutional law, and business law classes on the undergraduate level, graduate, and post-doctorate level.
