Daniel Stieglitz was born in 1980 in Bavaria, where he drew a lot in his childhood and later in the school magazine. In 2000 he started studying Animation, Film, Illustration and D...view moreDaniel Stieglitz was born in 1980 in Bavaria, where he drew a lot in his childhood and later in the school magazine. In 2000 he started studying Animation, Film, Illustration and Directing/Screenwriting at the Art School Kassel and graduated in 2007 with a 45 min movie called Last Stop TOYLAND. Since that time he's been working as a freelance storyboard-artist, illustrator and director for Commercials and TV. Around 2012 Stieglitz started to do live Caricature gigs and has done thousands of caricatures over the last years - digitally and traditionally. One of his main interests within that job has always been storytelling. Drawing live without a pre-sketch and the discovery of Korean Master Kim Jung Gi led to his first larger group composition in 2018 at the "Eurocature", for which he won the first price in traditional art. Later that year Daniel won the Golden Nosey Award at the ISCA convention in San Diego for another group composition. The combination of caricatures, group scenes, storytelling and the magic of drawing without pre-sketch is what he loves about this work and Daniel trusts there's plenty more to discover in the future...Daniel Stieglitz lives with his wife, Inga and his 2 daughters, Lotta and Frida, in Kassel, Germany.view less
