Since childhood, Mieko has always been fascinated by how the light adds drama to the original scene. She has been a professional photographer since 2000 and has been awarded the Kodak Gallery Award, Photographic Excellence in 2013. Foodelia International Food Photography Awards recognized her as a top photographer in 2016. Her work has been published both locally and globally.
