Along with his colleague Dr Michel Fattouche, he discovered and filed a patent for Wideband Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (WOFDM), and Multi-code Direct-sequence Spread Spectrum (MC-DSSS).
Those two technologies are used in all modern high speed telecommunication technologies such as 3G, Wi-Fi, LTE etc.
He founded Wi-Lan and Cell-Loc that achieved important market valuations in the 1990s. Those companies have since changed hands. Dr Zaghloul has since founded Inovatian which provides fast and cheap internet to remote areas of the world mostly in developing countries.view less
