He has worked as a bellboy, carpenter, grocery store manager, political cartoonist, and a few other odd trades probably best not mentioned in this bio.
His love of old comic books (horror and super-heroes specifically) inspired him to begin writing as a child during the seventies. When he discovered the darker work of Stephen King in the eighties, he knew what he ultimately wanted to do as an adult.
He's still not all that grown-up in the 21st century, but he has been writing a lot of books...
