Sternberg is currently Professor and Director of the Laboratory for Advanced Subsurface Imaging at the University of Arizona. He received his B.S. in physics and his M.S. and Ph.D. in geophysics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He has worked at Conoco, Inc., Barringer Resources, and Phoenix Geophysics. He has been Professor and Director of the Laboratory for Advanced Subsurface Imaging (LASI) at the University of Arizona since 1986. His research interests include electrical methods geophysics, instrumentation, high-resolution imaging methods, and integration of multiple data sets to solve geoscience problems.view less
