She completed her Ph.D. at University of California, Davis in 2016. Her dissertation focused on the causes and consequences of the agricultural transition, analyzing household panel data from rural Mexico. She has co-authored two award-winning papers on the declining farm labor supply from rural Mexico. She continues to research labor economics, agricultural markets, the economics of labor migration, and the economics of education.view less
