She is the track director of the Family Nurse Practitioner program, teaches both graduate and undergraduate students at the university, and works as a nurse practitioner in Student Health. Dr. Giardino has published in the area of child and adult sexual abuse and currently lectures on the evaluation of intimate partner violence and suspected child abuse to nursing and nurse practitioner students. Dr. Giardino received her BSN and PhD at the University of Pennsylvania, her MSN at Widener University, and Nurse Practitioner Certification in Adult and Family at La Salle University in Philadelphia, where she also received SANE training.view less
