Christine’s nursing career has centered around the care of children in the Pediatric Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Emergency Department, and medical-forensic evaluation of child maltreatment. She advanced through her career earning certification as a SANE-P (sexual assault nurse examiner-pediatrics) and forensic nurse examiner. Christine has been involved in over 1200 medical forensic evaluations, provided peer reviews, and testified in criminal hearings and trials. She has provided trainings to law enforcement and healthcare providers on team response to child maltreatment and the medical forensic exam.view less
