She worked in the business world for several years before becoming a stay-home mom of two children, Michael and Isabel. However, in her youth, she had always wanted to become a writer. She felt that she reached a point in her life where she was at liberty to explore this possibility by starting off with a children's book. In her book, she takes her own experiences as a parent and avid baseball fan to create a story about not giving up and focusing on the positive. She currently resides in Glen Allen, VA with her husband and two children.view less
