Gerald served in the United States Marine Corps and is a Vietnam Era Veteran. Carolyn graduated from Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia. They have been happily married for 26 years. It was in 2002 when Carolyn was inspired by God to research the history of the Apostolic Faith Church Of God. Gerald made himself available to assist in anyway he could to make the project a reality.
