She has been blessed with two sons and is also a grandmother. The Lord granted Anita favor to maintain employment for seventeen years with a market research company originally based in Oak Park, IL. During that time she was promoted from Telephone Interviewer to Supervisor and finally, Project Coordinator. In March 2002 Anita moved on to pursue her career and ministry in freelance writing. Her first book, "Church Girl: My Search for Acceptance" was published by 1st Books Library, which is now Author House. Her youngest son Emmanuel contributed as the illustrator. Currently along with writing, singing in the choir, and serving as a secretary in Sunday School, Anita is also now living her dream serving on staff at a local homeless shelter.view less
