There, I met my wife, Christine. Not long after we married, we bought a sailboat, which some past owner had named Two Roads, after the Robert Frost poem "The Road Not Taken." Six months later, we quit our jobs and spent a year sailing the Caribbean. I subsequently attended law school and supplemented my income writing articles for the ABA magazine "Student Lawyer." After graduation, I worked as an appellate court attorney, then as a patent lawyer. My wife and I now have four children, five grandchildren and a weird dog.view less
