This led to a lifetime's interest in the subject, a...view moreStephen Lockwood grew up in Huddersfield and, living near to a trolleybus terminus, he soon became fascinated by these vehicles. This led to a lifetime's interest in the subject, as well as in trams, buses and railways. On leaving grammar school in 1967, Stephen joined Bradford City Transport, which was still then operating trolleybuses. Stephen is a member of the British Trolleybus Society, the National Trolleybus Association and is a committee member for the Northern Branch of the Omnibus Society.view less
