He studied English Literature, a diploma in translation and a diploma in Literary Studies at Damascus University. He lived for two years in the United Arab Emirates and worked as an English/Arabic translator there. In 1999, he migrated to the United Kingdom to work as a translator for nearly 8 years. In 2007, he settled in the Netherlands and started to work as a freelance translator and a writer. He has written many short stories in Arabic and English and published some of them in different local newspapers. In 2017, he started to publish on the Internet.view less
