She is the author of "Neoliberalization" as Betrayal: State, Feminism, and a Women's Education Program in India (Palgrave Macmillan, 2011). She has written numerous articles about social justice, identity politics, and the environment. Shubhra Sharma has also taught at various undergraduate institutions in the US, including Vanderbilt University.
