Her engagement with the Arabic language and the limited learning material available, has let her to write the first instalment of the eBook Arabic, Why Not? Part 1 that is co-authored by Amr Salman, a native Arabic speaker. The eBook is accompanied by audio programmes that can be downloaded at no additional cost from Apple’s iTunes store. With the eBook and the podcasts Romy and Amr aim to promote the study of Arabic, a language of the United Nations that is spoken by more than 290 million people. When Romy is not studying languages or creating online language learning material, she is probably travelling, cooking or doing yoga.view less
