An encouraging teacher, in primary school, wrote ideas and stories from her pupils, in a notebook. All were saved for individual students to work up into stories at a later stage. An interest in writing and telling stories encouraged in those early years remained. Plays, poems and stories for schools and became an integral part of work in the advisory service. These days she is never far from a recording device when she is not working on the family farm or teaching.Currently, she is editing the first book in a series on puppetry, finishing off one play and writing a novel and several short stories.view less
