She pursued a Masters of Public Health at the University of Victoria, completing her specialization in Public Health Policy in 2014.Karen has worked in Canadian federal government, provincial government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations to better understand and support improvements in the health of populations. Karen has experience in health policy, program evaluation, and health funding strategy. Karen has managed projects and stakeholders in multiple levels of government and their partners.Karen’s interest in complex puzzles and problems spurs her passion for working in systems change to promote individual and community health and well-being.
