He currently serves with the HOP...view moreChaplain (Lieutenant Colonel) David Trogdon recently retired from the US Army after 33 years of military service including 25 years of active duty. He currently serves with the HOPE Project and ministers to soldiers, military families, wounded warriors and veterans. His many years of military service include 16 years as an Army Chaplain where he deployed to Iraq twice, Afghanistan, Africa and Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His awards include three Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart. David specialized in trauma, combat stress, child loss, grief and family ministries. He also pastored numerous Army chapels both at home and while deployed. David is a graduate of Welch College, Southeastern Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Army Command and General Staff College, US Army Chaplain Basic and Advance Courses, US Army Intelligence Center and School, and Basic Airborne Course and Clinical Pastoral Education. David and his wife Connie have two children and four grandsons.view less
