Rachel has spent many hours in Amish homes learning the stories of Amish women, the histories of their quilts, and current trends in Amish quiltmaking. She has authored and co-authored numerous books including Amish Wall Quilts, The World of Amish Quilts, A Treasury of Amish Quilts, and Tips for Quilters. Other ventures include designing several lines of fabric with P&B Textiles. She teaches and lectures at local guilds and has participated in educational programs at Sotheby’s and American Folk Art Museum in New York.view less
