She is a graduate of the University of Maine at Portland-Gorham and went on to teach English for twelve years at Westbrook High School in Westbrook, Maine. Muriel now resides in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina with her husband, George. They have a son, George, Jr. and a daughter, Kelly Lynn. They also have three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.view less
