This included the creation of world-class programmes of advocacy and progressive public policy intervention, as well as environmental management, ethical finance and sustainability reporting. He has worked across sectors as diverse as Banking, Food, Pharmacy, Funerals and Travel. Paul established Up the Ethics in 2013 to help corporate pioneers of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability to take the next steps and help precipitate much needed systematic change. PHILIP E MONAGHAN is CEO of Infrangilis, a research agency on the green economy. A key pillar of Infrangilis’ work is advising on or instigating advocacy initiatives on smart governance for a more resilient world. Areas of focus include sustainable urbanisation (Local Water, World Urban Campaign), green consumerism (Consumer Product Red List), and responsible capital markets (Rating Sovereign Raters). Philip is a recognised leader with over twenty years of international experience as a sustainability strategist. Prior to launching Infrangilis, his career included half a decade with AccountAbility where he helped establish the NGO’s global advocacy leadership on corporate governance standards, before which he learned his trade in the private sector with engineers the WSP Group. He is also author of the books ‘Hard to Make, Hard to Break’ and ‘Sustainability in Austerity’.view less
