He has since worked in the Electronic Systems Branch of Harry Diamond Laboratories on electronic sensors. In 1982 he joined the University of Maryland's Institute for Plasma Research, and has remained a member for the past 13 years, and is also an associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering.view less
