Born in the USA, Lauren grew up in the Hudson River Valley of New York State before emigrating to Australia in 2006. She has since lived in several countries around the world, including Turkey, England and The Netherlands as well as travelled extensively throughout Europe. Her travels have allowed her to explore and work with a diverse group of plants, peoples and cultures, inspiring her unique approach to health, healing, and holistic living.
After leaving a decade-long career in publishing, Lauren established her private practice (Airmid Botanicals) in 2012 as an Aromatherapist, Energy Healer and Spiritual Counsellor. In 2014, she published her first book in the "Simply" series, "Simply Clean. Using Essential Oils To Clean Your Home Naturally". The "Simply" series focuses on empowering readers to say no to toxic chemicals and make using essential oils in every-day life fun and easy.
