He became actively interested in the healing arts in 1977 when he began studying Chinese martial arts under the guidance of an accomplished martial artist. After years of intensive study with several notable teachers and observing the outstanding effects that Tai Chi, herbs, and acupuncture produced in patients and students, he started Catalina Acupuncture and the Mind Form Technology Project which conducts ongoing research into how the mind influences the healing process.view less
