She has published seven books --two best selling erotic novels, “Blue Skies, No Candy” and ”Doctor Love,” a bold, innovative sex guide (”Delicious Sex”) and a steamy memoir, “Insatiable: Tales from a Life of Delicious Excess which documents how American fell in love with food, four decades of the revolution in dining out. She co-founded Citymeals-on-Wheels with James Beard 30 years ago to help feed the city’s needy homebound elderly and remains Board Chair. Citymeals currently raises $19 million annually delivering meals to 16,500 frail New Yorkers. Her weekly restaurant blog BITE, food news and her newsletter ForkPlay appear now on her website, Insatiable Critic.com. She worked as a judge in the three rounds of Bravo’s Top Chef Masters. Her work for Citymeals has won the James Beard Foundation Humanitarian Award. She holds a Silver Spoon award from Food Arts and is a member of The JBF Who’s Who.
