ADP promoted Ray to Regional Vice President in the Kansas City Region within five years. He started a new region for ADP in Indianapolis in 1980 and was honored as the Most Outstanding Region in his class in Bermuda that year.In September of 1981, Ray was admitted to the Methodist Psychiatric Hospital, screaming that he hated Frank Lautenberg, the Chairman of the Board of ADP. This memoir recounts the time that he spent there in the early 1980s. Ruth Lilly, the Heiress of Eli Lilly, a fellow patient, was his "kindred spirit.” After his release, Ray continued his employment with ADP until June 1988. During his tenure with ADP, he won nine Pacesetter" s Awards for outstanding performance.He lives near "The Villages" in Central Florida with Shirlee, his wife of 41 years.
