In addition to writing, he makes films, creates music, and tinkers with new inventions. He has over 40 years experience in inventing and developing new technologies and created the first commercial wireless broadband Internet service in the world in the 1990's in Austin, Texas before cable and DSL were available. He also invented and patented an optical 3D capture/process/display technology requiring neither glasses nor lasers.
