Tui T Sutherland

Tui T. Sutherland & Kari Sutherland are sisters and best friends, and if you can’t tell by looking at them which one is older, Tui certainly isn’t going to tell you. They grew up in South America, traveling a lot and moving several times (and they’re still only about 80 percent certain that their parents weren’t secret agents). Kari now lives in California, while Tui lives in Boston, but they use every excuse they can to see each other (like, say, writing a book together).

I liked this book very much. But it wasn’t my absolute most favorite. Peril is a very cool character but she is not, exactly my cup of tea.

But what is really cool about this book is that we learn that there are more dragonets coming along to save the day. But this time a mudwing and rainwing are kicked out and a icewing and skywing take their place.

I am so excited to keep listening to this series I love Tui T. Sutherland’s “Wings of Fire.”

Oh my catzilla!!! That was one of the best books in the whole entire Wings of Fire book series that I have ever read so far! The ending was superb and a very chilling and thoughtfully unexpected surprise. Now I get the part of Moon Watcher’s prophecy that says “Something is coming to shake the Earth. Something is coming to scorch the ground.” The part of it that says “Something is coming to shake the Earth.” is when Darkstalker breaks through the ground in a gigantic earthquake. The part that says “Something is coming to scorch the ground.” I think means that Darkstalker will try to make all of Pyheria into his kingdom that is going to fall and kill everyone that lives there. This book is awesome and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good adventure that just make you feel happy when you hear it and anyone who loves or likes -however the reader feels about it- dragons.

This book changed my mind on Peril completely. I used to not really like her all too much, but listening to the beautiful narration was amazing! Shanon made every dragon have so much character, and I felt like I was watching from a bird’s eye. Seeing Peril and Turtle’s dynamic duo was one of the most heartwarming things I’ve ever experienced. Also seeing Moon talk aloud, at the end, to Darkstalker from the POV of someone else was very interesting. All in all, this was a beautiful book and I loved it with every part of my dragon loving heart.
