This is a lovely, well-written, and illustrated children's book with a simple and good message with it. My kids love reading it and looking at the pictures. We may have to get another copy or two so each of our kids can have their own.
It's about what you can be when you grow up and what you want to be. It's about your dreams and where you can go and what you can achieve if you follow your dreams. It's also a beautiful reminder to be yourself and that what makes you you is what will make you who you want to be. It's full of nice and fun rhyming with colorful and pretty illustrations to help get the points across about following your dreams and living the life you want as your awesome self.

A nice, engaging book that helps kids see the many sorts of things that they could do in the future. The artwork is clean and attractive, and the rhyming text scans well. It's an encouraging book, with lots of details to discuss with kids as you're reading. I particularly appreciated the diversity shown in the art -- any kid, of any race, should find someone to represent them. A great children's book, professionally put together. Happy to add this to the bedtime rotation!

My children LOVED this book and as an adult, I enjoyed it too. The illustrations were colorful and engaging. The text was interesting. I don't always love cutesy rhyming books without a storyline but I found myself looking forward to each new page, to see what jobs/skills the author and illustrator would hint at. The mirror at the end was a surprise that my 8 yo enjoyed and she loved the poster that was hidden on the flip side the book jacket. She quickly claimed it for her wall.I received the book through librarything.com in exchange for my honest opinion but this is a book that I would choose to include in our personal library collection and it's definitely a plus for any school or public library.

A delightful story in rhyme that uses a diverse group of children to illustrate how their specific talents can lead to future careers. The back of the paper cover can be used as a poster and a mirror at the end is a wonderful surprise.

This was genuinely one of the best books I've received as an early review copy. As someone who works as a librarian for teachers, the interactive class lessons in the front and back of the books are wonderful. There's so much amazing representation, and it's such a good message. I love that there are jobs of all sorts, as well, from astronauts to truck drivers, to nurses, to farmers, and it broke a lot of gender roles in the process. I will definitely be recommending this book to my patrons, and especially my future teachers.

This is a nice book for growing vocabulary around what children are good at and how they can grow their self-esteem and pride. Through pictures and words it shows young children being good at different things -- caring, writing/creativity, bravery, grit, etc. Through the narrative children can have conversations around what they are good at and how they display these traits. This would be a great book to share with preschool and younger elementary age students around how to grow as people and what individuals can bring to a community. The illustrations are colorful and vibrant and compliment the text well.
