About this audiobook
Susan Stokes
As a child Sue Stokes spent hours scribbling in exercise books creating stories. Her ambition to be a journalist was forgotten when a speech given by the matron of a local hospital, at school prize giving inspired her to become a nurse. After gaining her SRN she trained to become a health visitor. On retiring, Sue took up writing classes, her first novel was born from a short story exercise. Sue is a keen member of her local drama group. She also enjoys reading, and visiting coffee shops selling huge scones. She lives with her husband and dog in Lancashire.
