This book had some very excellent events that were included. Alice’s interaction with the creatures, ability to determine reality (queen of hearts), and embarking throughout a false land detail an interesting story. It shows that Alice is yet a child, but an imaginative and creative one indeed. Though this is a world of fantasy, she is a growing and intelligent little girl. The “kid” in us is something we should all strive for and connect to. Though the premise was an outstanding idea, parts of this book did not seem to have meaning alone. The acquaintances, friends, and issues she comes across don’t completely connect to anything in this book. Also, some of the riddles are packed with confusion. However, sections of this novella are enjoyable.
