About this audiobook
Chastity Jeffries and Xavier King come from very different backgrounds, though they have one thing in common: they’re both living with family secrets. Chastity is the only child of a prominent pastor and has been raised with privilege, but her father’s testimony as a philanderer and her mom’s role as dutiful wife have tainted her view of love. Xavier never knew his father, and his mother abandoned him. His grandmother raised him in a household built on cruelty and violence instead of love and acceptance, instilling in him a fear of abandonment and an enormous sense of insecurity.
Sparks fly when Chastity and Xavier meet, and their whirlwind romance feels almost too good to be true. Chastity is swept off her feet, but before long, cracks begin to show in Xavier’s perfect façade, and it is only a matter of time before that façade comes crumbling down. When Xavier’s wrath erupts at a level Chastity has never seen, who will it destroy forever?

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I have never stopped an audio so fast in my life lol the first three sentences were cheesy as hell. No ma’am
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This story was great I loved every minute must listen
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5An absolutely spectacular piece literature! I can’t wait to start another book of hers!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Didn’t like the book. But I think it’s more so that I don’t like the authors of writing style. The book goes on and on and on but never takes you anywhere. You can see how it’s going to end mid way. Pride was the next book but I think I’ll pass. And try something different. Narrators are pretty good
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I thought it was super sappy at first, but I was captivated by the story. It is eloquently illustrated leaving me with a healthy balance of WTF and spiritual perspective. I enjoyed it enough to start listening to other books by the author. Congratulations you’re now in my pantheon of fascinating authors.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I listened to Lust, Envy, and Wrath by Victoria Christopher Murray. All were very entertaining. Wrath had a lot of twists and turns and although I somewhat anticipated the climax, I had to keep listening. The ending did not disappoint. Now I can't wait for Victoria Christopher Murray to continue with the seven deadly sins series. I am definitely a fan! The narrators are fantastic too.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5When a man, or a woman, shows you who they really are... Believe them the first time.
