Tamika D. Mallory is a trailblazing social justice leader, movement strategist, globally recognized civil rights activist, cofounder of Until Freedom and the historic Women’s March, and author of State of Emergency. She served as the youngest ever Executive Director of the National Action Network. Her speech in the wake of the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota—entitled “State of Emergency”—was dubbed “the speech of a generation” by ABC News. Very direct on life changing times in America a must get

Its hard to write a review for a non-fiction book. This isn't really a review but a recommendation for anyone who calls themselves an ally to the cause. This book should be a requirement for those who call themselves allies. It has a lot of information that is important to know and helps us understand better as allies what we need to do in support.
