About this audiobook
USA TODAY BESTSELLER
The Vanderpump Rules breakout star and provocateur brings her signature sharp wit to the page with this collection of humorous and brutally honest essays exploring her rocky road to fame, sobriety, and beyond.
What does “Give them Lala” mean? It means giving the truest, most honest version of yourself to the world. It means being authentic, bold, adventurous, and having an unapologetic approach to life.
Hollywood is where Lauren Burningham, aspiring actress from Utah, fully embraced her alter-ego Lala Kent, entrepreneur, entertainer, and film and television star. Some say she’s rude; Lala says she claps back. Some say she’s spontaneous; Lala says “eat up the drama.” Some say she’s too bold; Lala knows she’s reality TV gold. Truth is, without giving them Lala, Lauren could never have become the woman she is today.
In her debut collection of essays, Lala shares how you, too, can embrace the best version of yourself and never feel guilty for deserving more. As she leads us on her bumpy journey from suburban boredom to Hollywood glamour, she’ll explain how women can—and should—feel just as free as men when it comes to sex, how sobriety saved her life and relationship, and how we should treasure every day we have with those we love.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is absolutely amazing. I’m not sure what I was expecting, probably a light hearted “beach read”, something fun and... well... kind of shallow? This book is so not that. Lala went DEEP and didn’t hold back. It sounds so cliche but I laughed and I cried. I learned so much about the girl behind the girl on our screens. I thank her for being so honest and raw and talking about hard things that she didn’t have to. I think this book is going to resonate with people more than they even realize. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Honestly thought this book would be a joke because I do love the show but Lala seemed ignorant and cocky as hell. After reading this book I am BLOWN TF AWAY!!! I relate to her more than I thought. She actually takes accountability and says it like it is. This book is the voice of a lot of us women. She talks about insecurities, slut shaming, relationship woes and MORE! Raw and uncut! Funny and even witty at times!! I of all people am recommending this book via audio or self read to all WOMEN!!!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Amazing book, I love getting to know the real Lala and she explains it perfectly. It’s also very interesting to hear some BTS of Vanderpump Rules and getting to know why she did the things she did!!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Was pleasantly surprised. Depth, vulnerability and of course, laughs. Always interesting to hear another person's story and relate to their perspective. Almost like a coming of age journey. Definitely worth it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I’ve listened to this book at least 3 times. She really gives you confidence in yourself and educated you how to move on from mistakes.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was amazing, I listened to it in mostly one sitting. My perception of you was way off until I listened to this book. I’d always liked you but I though you were a little messy, this book was excellent in revealing who you truly are. Well done! Give them Lala!!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I've followed Lala since the moment she made her debut on Pump. I've followed her through it all. Never getting into books by reality stars I thought I'd give her a try. Excellent heartfelt. I can relate from the loss of her father and a man being by her side and him helping her go from a girl to a woman. I loved it all. Her rawness and her brevity. I laughed cried and felt her rawness wake she read her life so far to me. I am sad to hear about her and the love of her life. But like life it happens, grow from it and love yourself and Ocean thru it all. Your poppa would be so proud of you.
Well done Lala. Well done. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I didn’t know what to expect but I was curious. Lala’s story is a good one.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved this book!!! The raw, the real. I laughed and cried. I just loved it!
