Enola Holmes is back! Nancy Springer's nationally bestselling series and breakout Netflix sensation returns to beguile listeners young and old in Enola Holmes and the Black Barouche.

Enola Holmes is the much younger sister of her more famous brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft. But she has all the wits, skills, and sleuthing inclinations of them both. At fifteen, she's an independent young woman - after all, her name spelled backwards reads "alone" - and living on her own in London. When a young professional woman, Miss Letitia Glover, shows up on Sherlock's doorstep, desperate to learn more about the fate of her twin sister, it is Enola who steps up. It seems her sister, the former Felicity Glover, married the Earl of Dunhench and per a curt note from the Earl, has died. But Letitia Glover is convinced this isn't the truth, that she'd know - she'd feel - if her twin had died.

The Earl's note is suspiciously vague and the death certificate is even more dubious, signed it seems by a John H. Watson, M.D. (who denies any knowledge of such). The only way forward is for Enola to go undercover--or so Enola decides at the vehement objection of her brother. And she soon finds out that this is not the first of the Earl's wives to die suddenly and vaguely--and that the secret to the fate of the missing Felicity is tied to a mysterious black barouche that arrived at the Earl's home in the middle of the night. To uncover the secrets held tightly within the Earl's hall, Enola is going to require help--from Sherlock, from the twin sister of the missing woman, and from an old friend, the young Viscount Tewkesbury, Marquess of Basilwether!

Enola Holmes returns in her first adventure since the hit Netflix movie brought her back on the national bestseller lists, introducing a new generation to this beloved character and series.

So glad that Enola is back and teamed with her esteemed brother Sherlock Holmes. This intriguing mystery is just as fantastic as the first ones in the Enola Holmes series. Wonderfully narrated too!

I liked it a lot! It's addictive! I must admit that I haven't read the Sherlock Holmes books and it's very likely that they don't resemble this. It's a youth read, the first one I've read by the author and the last one published so far in the Enola Holmes series (I intend to get the earlier ones). It's a simple and easy read, but extremely addictive; first you want to know what happened to Felicity and then see what happens to her and the other characters. While Tish takes on more relevance towards the end, I loved her character; like Enola, she is an intelligent and independent woman. I was surprised by the prologue and epilogue narrated by Sherlock. The chapters are not too long, making it a very pleasant read.

I enjoyed it a lot and I recommend it for both young and not-so-young readers, haha. (Translated from Spanish)

I didn't really like how they handle Sherlock's situation, I mean they portray him as more careless than he actually is. I guess I see it that way because I love Sherlock and it should be like that for Enola, the protagonist, to stand out; if it were the real Sherlock, it would be a different story. Anyway, the drawings are nice and the cases are interesting, so I will continue with the others. (Translated from Spanish)

?I must start by thanking this novel for introducing me to the mystery and detective genre. Although I haven't had the opportunity to read Sherlock Holmes, I must say that I loved Enola Holmes.

I have read both the graphic novel and the original novel in pure text, and I was fascinated by the story, but above all, by the illustrations of the graphic novel. I found each one to be very beautiful, and I think it was a very good summary of the story. I want to know and learn more about Enola, and this Sherlock Holmes seems to be a good character and a great big brother who genuinely cares for his little sister.? (Translated from Spanish)

A very quick and recommended read for very young readers.

I need the following parts because I felt it was all very introductory, but it has some of the most beautiful illustrations. ? (Translated from Spanish)
