AHHHHH!!!! What kind of ending was that?!? Omg. So frustrating.
I think this has got to be my least favorite Sandie Jones book. She is one of my favorite authors but this book seemed more like a family drama than anything else. This would probably make a good Hallmark mystery.
The entire time, I disliked Rose more and more with each appearance. She was constantly changing her story and playing the blame game. She denied everything a little too hard.
As for Kate, she drove me nuts too! She just acted like there was absolutely no way her dad could do any wrong. Plus idk if it was the hormones or what, but some of the stuff she did was just too much.
Lauren - I felt bad for her for the most part. Except when she made poor decisions. I guess I can’t really blame her with her psycho husband and jerk parents.
This was a fast read, which I was thankful for. My review is probably about 2.5 rounded up. I was just expecting more mystery or suspense. Or something.

not a bad story. but unlikable characters makes it hard to listen to: manipulative & deceitful mother, abusive hubby, the "daddy's girl" is most annoying : angry & hateful, self-righteous & always bullying the other daughter. (although this may be how the reader reads them)

This was really good. It had quite a bit going on. It kept me on my toes for sure.
