About this audiobook

Ever heard of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer?

That's exactly what Ally Lockwood has to do when the hottest guy at Fairview High, who is also her sworn nemesis, moves in with her family for senior year.

Most girls would do anything to live across the hall from Chase Williams, but Ally isn't fooled by his good looks or brooding charm. She's been on the wrong side of him for years, and knows all too well how sly and manipulative he truly is.

She's desperate to get rid of him. Luckily, her friends have a genius plan to ensure Ally's over-protective father kicks Chase out of the house for good.

All she has to do is convince him to date her and make sure they get caught . . .

What our readers think

Readers find this title to be a good book overall. The narrators are enjoyable and the story and characters are loved by many. However, some readers find the female narrator's inflections slightly annoying and wish that Chase would have narrated more. There are also a few readers who struggle to connect with the protagonist and find her annoying, along with questionable actions from her friends. Despite these minor flaws, readers still find the book worth their time and would recommend it.

I'm exactly at the middle of the book and I need to say that though I generally love this types of books I'm struggling to connect with the protagonist she's incredibly annoying, some of her friends actions are questionable at best, and the guy is not that likable either. I think I'll finish this only because I find it hard to leave books unfinished. I'll add a Pd. if I change my mind, but I honestly doubt it.

Pd. They become slightly less annoying, but not enough for a 3 star review

I loved the story and characters. The female narrator's inflections when reading was slightly annoying but other than that it was a good book.

Kind of repetitive, she would review a situation her her head, and the next chapter would be his and it would be a review of the same situations using the same words
