- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a bloody awesome collection of vampire stories, all so different and captivating. There was only one that was a little boring for me, but I realize it's only because it was about a place and the story that aren't that interesting for me. And there's one that I loved the most, and wanted more of it.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Not my cup of tea. There was one or two that I liked but I wanted to sell my physical copy about 30% in
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Some good mostly bad. Will be a forgettable read for me
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Vampires never get old : tales with fresh bite is an anthology with diverse fantasy and horror stories about vampires. My favorite story was The House of Black Sapphires by Dhonielle Clayton, especially because of the excellent world building and character depth. I also enjoyed the stories set in today’s time and playing with current topics like social media (Mark Oshiro’s Mirrors, windows & selfies and Zoraida Córdova’s and Natalie C. Parker’s Vampires never say die) or colonialism (Samira Ahmed’s A guidebook for the newly sired Desi vampire). These are my ratings for every short story (on a scale of one to five stars):Seven nights for dying by Tessa Gratton (3/5)The Boys from Blood River by Rebecca Roanhorse (2.5/5)Senior year sucks by Julie Murphy (3/5)The boy and the bell by Heidi Heilig (3.5/5)A guidebook for the newly sired Desi vampire by Samira Ahmed (4/5)In kind by Kayla Whaley (2.5/5)Vampires never say die by Zoraida Córdova & Natalie C.
