Loved it so much. Well written and narrated by only the best. And now, after 12 books, I can’t listen to anything unless Annie Aldington narrates it. I seek her out whatever platform I’m using. She is perfect for these British post/pre war stories. She grew up in the east end. It’s in her blood and you can tell when she reads, it’s her soul and it fills you as you listen.
